Coining the term if not already coined: The state of being a sponge: an absorber, noticer, learner by observation and osmosis; a squeezer or secreter of what has been taken in, rinsed and slightly processed.
I am less of a doer in the moment, I’m a doer after careful consideration. In the moment, I’m a sponge, an absorber. All I can do is watch the movie unfold and take in/process the millions of details involved with any present situation. I will act later once I’ve thoroughly processed, thought it through, understand where I’m coming from and where I’m going.
